C-Unit offers classes in the following:

Creative Movement

Hip Hop, Jazz and Ballet - gives the younger beginner a sense of rhythm, basic steps, and an introduction to dance.

Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Hip-Hop and Lyrical

From beginner to advanced

Auditions for the company are held at the end of the dance season by teacher
recommendation only. Every now and then, there are open auditions.

The company is divided into four groups:

• Pee Wee, 5-7
• Small Fry, 8-10
• Junior, 11-14
• Senior, 15 & Up

Classes begin Tuesday, September 6.

Fees

Class Fees: $60 per month for a 1-hour class; $70 per month for a 1.5-hour class $80 per two hour class.

Registration for the 2011-2012 dance year is due no later than July 1. At that time, registration will include the $25 registration fee and FULL TUITION PAYMENT for classes from September to February. The remainder of tuition must be paid in full for March-May by December 1st or a $10 late fee will apply. You may pay the year in full if you wish. Please send in your registration form with payment.

Please note that although tuition payment is paid in two installments, registration is a full year commitment. Dance classes are not scheduled monthly. Students are expected to attend from September until May/June
depending on the recital.

Payments are non-refundable and any missed classes can be made up at any time. Payments may not be transferred in any way. See your teacher for a make-up schedule. Payments must be made by check, cash or paypal.

Class Attire

Ballet
All class uniforms can be found at Footlights Dance. Click here for more information.

Jazz and Lyrical
Jazz shorts only, foot undees. Form fitting tops (no sweatshirts or baggy clothing).

Hip-Hop
Street sneakers for hip-hop. No jeans, skirts, dresses or jazz sneakers for any class. No gum, food or cell phones will be permitted in the studio.

Studio Closings

If classes are cancelled due to inclement weather please call (301) 664-7900 for information. E-mails will be sent as notification. Missed classes are encouraged to be made up.

The studio will be closed for the following:
• Rosh Hashanah — First night
• Yom Kippur — First night
• Halloween
• Winter Holiday — One week (Christmas)
• Spring Break — One week (Easter/ Passover)

Exact dates and further information will be given out at various times during the year.
