Footlights has been independently owned and operated by a former "dance mom" since 1991. Our extensive inventory and friendly knowledgeable staff has made us one of the largest dance-wear retailers in Maryland. We take great pride in our Pointe shoe fittings, and have customers come from all over Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania to seek our expertise.

There will always be someone available to fit you for pointe shoes, so there is no need to make an appointment. The staff has completed several pointe shoe fitting seminars with major dance brands like Russian Pointe and Suffolk and is working on scheduling several more. We are more than happy to provide as many opions as we can though, and take pride in our ability to work as a team to ensure your best fit. Between us we have about 50 years of pointe shoe fitting experience, and we have yet to meet a foot we couldn't fit.
