Michelle Shull

Michele completed her Pilates training with Body Arts and Sciences International (BASI) where she was required to complete more than 600 hours of training. She has earned and maintains her certification from the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA), the international certifying agency dedicated to upholding the highest standard of quality teaching and education in the Pilates profession.

She has furthered her studies of integrative movement, anatomy, modification for injuries, pain management and rehabilitation with numerous master Pilates teachers and continues to participate in continuing education on a regular basis.

Sara Berger

Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Sara discovered Pilates after moving to DC In 2011. After years of injury and chronic back pain, a regular Pilates practice enabled her to return to her active lifestyle feeling better than ever, and most importantly, free of pain! Inspired by the transformation and encouraged by her mentor, she decided to transition her passion into a career so she could share the gift of Pilates with others. Sara completed her Comprehensive Teacher Training Program from the world renowned BASI® Pilates in 2014 and has held her certification through the Pilates Method Alliance since 2015.

Sara places a strong emphasis on her continuing education and has worked with numerous Pilates master teachers to further study anatomy and fascial relationships, enhancing flexibility and controlling hypermobility, dealing with injuries, pain management and rehabilitation.

Sara mindfully creates an inviting space, where students of all experience levels feel comfortable, confident and encouraged to approach the challenge of the Pilates repertoire. She is a former dancer and is enthused to travel with you on your journey towards a stronger body AND mind!

Scott Donroe

Scott has been a licensed Physical Therapist for 20 years, in private practice since 2004. He graduated magna cum laude with a Masters Degree from Notre Dame College, specializing in sports orthopedic rehabilitation. His treatment style is always one on one and every patient receives undivided attention, with the focus on restoring alignment for optimal function and the elimination of symptoms. Scott primarily uses manual therapy techniques like myofascial release, Rolfing and craniosacral therapy and he has developed a reputation for helping people resolve long standing and challenging problems like back and neck pain. Patient education is critical for long term results because the more people know about their own bodies the more empowered they are to remain healthy. Scott has two daughters, 7 & 14 years old, both who live, eat and sleep dancing.
