Our Pre-School Program is broken up into two sessions per year for ages 3-4. We offer options for Creative Movement classes in both ballet and hip-hop.

All classes are focused on introducing our tiny dancers to being in a classroom setting, discovering their love for dance and music, and developing correct, basic technique/terminology in a high-energy atmosphere.

Bridge Program

The Bridge Program offers more in-depth dance foundation than what the pre-school class time allows for. This is meant as a transition/preparation for our Company, or simply for young dancers that have demonstrated particular interest in dance and are ready for a slightly bigger commitment. Dancers ages 4-5 are accepted by teacher recommendation or evaluation only. Young dancers are evaluated mostly by listening skills, the ability to follow directions, and certain technical aptitude.

Hip-Hop Team

The Hip-Hop Team is the studio’s all hip-hop crew that competes in 1-2 local competitions per year. Though the team competes only in hip-hop, we encourage members to be versatile in all genres of dance as that helps develop their understanding of movement and picking up choreography. Members are required to take a minimum of 3 classes per week (2 hip-hop, 1 class of choice), as well as attend their weekly rehearsal until competition is over.

C-Unit’s Company is a nationally award winning team known for the true versatility of its members, a strong technical foundation, and creativity of choreography/concepts.

It is our most advanced competitive group that trains 5-7 days per week in ballet/pointe, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, tap, tumbling/acro, jumps/turns/leaps, extensions & stretch/conditioning. Additionally, the company has regular masterclasses with guest faculty throughout the year.

Pilates is a great way to stay in shape, build strength and flexibility, and prevent injuries. C-Unit is proud to offer reformer pilates privates in the comfort of our studio with experienced, top-notch instructors!

Many of our parents take pilates as a challenging form of exercise; many of our young dancers take pilates as a way to supplement their dance training, strengthen core muscle groups, and prevent injuries. No matter your goals and ability, our instructors will help develop the right program for you!
